Dear 2009 Eichler Home Tour Attendees, Homeowners, Vendors and Volunteers,
Thank you so much for being a part of San Mateo Highlands Eichler Home Tour 2009. Highlands Elementary School received over $46,000 of much needed funding from this event, which will be used to continue programs that would otherwise be cut. The turn out was wonderful, guests enthusiastic, and the vendors were top notch.
The website will continue to be updated over the time between events. The next event is currently scheduled for April of 2011. We already have 6 homes for consideration for this, but encourage submission of nominations for homes you think would add value.
The website will also evolve with additional exciting features during non-event time. Some of these include: home listing features for our preferred realtor team, promoting other eichler events in the Bay Area and beyond, articles and postings relating to eichlers and the eichler lifestyle, green tips, and more.
This year’s event, themed Green Innovations was layered with many new ideas. Overall, the feedback was good, but our committee strives to improve each event, in part by learning from the previous events. Any feedback that you would like to submit is greatly welcomed. We will be posting a feedback nook on the website for everyone to view and add to.
We hope you had an enjoyable experience as a guest at the event. There was a lot to take in. If you missed an opportunity to buy an event poster, please contact us at
