This remodel is an example of home owners expanding on the openness of Eichler. With the help of architect, John Klopf, they came up with a design that removed three walls and re-engineered the entire kitchen so that it was the center of the living space. This created a smooth flow of space between the kitchen, dining room, and the family room featured in this picture.

This is one of only five Renaissance Eichlers that were conceived by Joseph Eichler’s son, Ned Eichler. Part of this update done within the Eichler family included sheetrocked walls, smaller thermopane windows, and a 600 sq. foot second story master bedroom suite.
